National Commission Circa FBI 1962- After the Appalachin, NY raid of all the National Bosses meeting in the quaint upstate New York town, the world along with J Edgar Hoover's top FBI Brass could no longer deny the existence of a national organized crime syndicate. Aggresive investigations would now have to pursue and identify the high ranking members of such an organization. In addition to targeted investigations in all major cities infamous informant Joe Valachi began to cooperate with the Federal Government in 1962 after commiting a murder in prison based on the belief that Vito Genovese was tracking to whack him. Valachi's cooperation would lay out details of the structuring of the national commision as well as sunstantiate law enforcments findings. He would later go on to testify publically in 1963.
