Tony Accardo- The Chicago Outfits' truest Don. Accardo rose to power thru decades in the life as a member of the Outfit. From a young brutal street thug who earned the nickname "Joe Batters" from beating someone to death with a bat, Accardo grew old thru the Torrio, Capone, Ricca, and Giancana Eras always remaining elusive and avoiding any jail sentence, in his later years reportedly being the true boss behind the Outfits' front leadership of Ricca and Giancana. Accardo died in 1992 of natural causes. An acomplishment not met by many gangsters...especially in Chicago. A true Don.
